When did they live?
In the early Jurassic, the Earth was a very different place. The climate was warm and tropical, with no polar ice caps. Early Jurassic dinosaurs were small, about the size of a chicken or turkey. They had large teeth that helped them eat plants and fruits they found on land or in shallow water near the coast, where it was easy for them to reach food without having to swim. Early Jurassic dinosaurs also had strong arms so they could run quickly over land when necessary. These are just some of the characteristics of Early Jurassic dinosaurs.
