China is home to many different types of Chinese dinosaurs that roamed the planet during the Jurassic period. Among them is the Tianchisaurus, a large carnivorous type of dinosaur with sharp teeth and claws, which measured between 3 and 5 meters when alive. Other types of Chinese dinosaurs are the Hanyangosaurus, a herbivore that weighed around 2 tons; the Zhenyuanlong suni, another large carnivorous dinosaur with similar characteristics to the Tianchisaurus but smaller in size; and finally the Sinornithosaurus millenii which was an agile predator with strong jaws to catch prey.
