Gilmoreosaurus was the name given to a genus of dinosaurs that lived in the Cretaceous of Asia. It is believed to be a hadrosaur or iguanodont dating from 96 million years ago from the Iren Dabasu Formation of Inner Mongolia.

It was a relatively large-sized hadrosauroid that could grow up to 6.2 m and weigh between 1.2 and 3.6 t. They were duck-billed dinosaurs descended from the Upper Jurassic/Lower Cretaceous iguanodont dinosaur. It was a plant-eating dinosaur with thousands of teeth suitable for crushing food before swallowing it. It lived on the ground with hoof-like toes to better move along the ground. Hatchlings stood on two legs while adults moved on all fours.
