Canada's climate was much milder than these two countries, so it made sense that there would be less extreme temperature swings and therefore smaller animals could thrive here as well. Rex already mentioned this point: "In the United States, the climate swings are much more extreme and there is also a lot of competition between dinosaurs, so most animals can't reach their full size."

Which Canadian dinosaur was considered one of the largest ever found?

The Albertadromeus was not as large or powerful as the T-Rex, but still managed to stand out in Canada. It is believed that Albertadromeus were herbivores because of what they ate living in Alberta, which made them smaller than other types of carnivorous dinosaurs that lived abroad.
