Udanoceratops is an extinct genus of ceratopsian leptoceratopsid dinosaur that lived in the Late Cretaceous period. It is known to be the largest non-ceratopsid neoceratopsid yet discovered.
It was a lightly built quadrupedal dinosaur, but able to stand up and move for short distances on its hind legs alone. It was known only from an almost complete skull about 60 centimeters long and moderately well preserved. It had a short frill growing from the back of the skull and no horns over the eyes or nose like other leptoceratopsids. It was a herbivorous dinosaur with a beak-like mouth that it used to cut and shear parts of plants such as cycads and ferns. Its rear cheek teeth processed the ingested plants so that they could be more easily digested. Compared to many other genera of leptoceratopsids, the crest of Udanoceratops was remarkably small in size.
It is estimated that Udanoceratops was 60 centimeters long and probably weighed 200 kg.
