Zalmoxes was an extinct genus of ornithopod rhabdodontid dinosaur that lived in the Late Cretaceous period about 69 million years ago. It was classified as Chordata, Dinosauria, Ornithischia, Ornithopoda and Rhabdodontidae.
It was a herbivorous dinosaur believed to have lived in the present-day forests of central Europe. It was a medium-sized dinosaur that walked on two legs. It had a narrow beak and a pointed skull, and three toes on its legs. Its head was in a triangular position with a pointed beak and a short neck.
Zalmoxes were 7 to 10 feet long and weighed approximately 500 pounds.
