Yandusaurus was a genus of basal neornithischian herbivorous dinosaur that lived in the Bathonian era (between 168 and 162 Ma) of China. Its name means "Yandu lizard" in reference to the area where it was found. It was one of the most primitive ornithopods known, called "hypsilophodont".

It was a fast-moving bipedal dinosaur with four toes on each foot and five on each hand. It was a small plant-eating dinosaur with large eyes and divided its time between chewing foliage with its single vertical grating teeth. It had horny beaks and a dental arrangement.

Yandusaurus was estimated to be about 3.8 meters long and weighed 140 kg.
