Amygdalodon was a genus of basal sauropod that lived in the Middle Jurassic of Argentina. Fossils were found in the Jurassic Toarcian Cerro Carnerero formation. However, there is not much information about this dinosaur. The name means "almond tooth" and was named by Cabrera in 1947.

It was a heavily built four-legged dinosaur with a long neck and tail. It was a herbivore that consumed a large amount of plants. It has an oval shaped tooth.

It is estimated that the amygdalodont was about 12 meters long and weighed about 1.48 tons.
