Segisaurus was a genus of small coelophid theropod dinosaurs that lived about 183 million years ago during the Jurassic period. 

It was a primitive bipedal theropod that was approximately the size of a goose. It had a robust body, bird-like in structure, with a flexible and elongated neck. Its legs were powerful with three toes that were long compared to the length of its body. It had a long tail and long forearms. The Segisaurus is believed to be insectivorous, eating mainly insects and possibly small animals, but perhaps it also had carrion meat....

This small theropod measured approximately 1 meter from head to tail, half a meter tall and weighed between 4 and 7 kilograms.
