Tylocephale was a genus of pachycephalic dinosaur that lived in the Late Cretaceous period. The name means "swollen head" which comes from the Greek τυλη meaning 'callus' or 'hard swelling' and κεφαλη meaning 'head'. It is known to have had the highest dome of all known pachycephalosaurs.

It was a rather small pachycephalosaur known from a single partial skull. It was a herbivorous dinosaur with a thick skull. They were not climbers, so they fed close to the ground. The teeth were small, peg-like, with an oval cross-section used for grasping food. It was a bipedal dinosaur or stood on its two legs. It could also place its head, neck and body in a horizontal position to transmit effort during the lunge. It possibly lived in very different environments.
