Nemegtosaurus was a sauropod dinosaur that lived in the Late Cretaceous period in what is now Mongolia. It was named after the place where it was discovered, meaning "Nemegt lizard". It was closely related to animals such as Saltasaurus, Alamosaurus and Rapetosaurus.

Nemegtosaurus had a long neck and tail. It had pencil-thin teeth that were sharpened at an acute angle to produce a chisel-shaped tip. It was a herbivorous dinosaur that probably ate ferns and conifers that were common during the Late Cretaceous. It either loomed high in trees or grazed on low-growing plants. It stood on all fours and suggested that it was active throughout the day at short intervals.

Nemegtosaurus was estimated to be approximately 40 feet long.
