Microceratus was a genus of ichneumonid wasp that lived during the Late Cretaceous in what is now the Gobi Desert approximately 80 to 65 million years ago. It was described in 1953 by Birger Bohlin as Microceratus, meaning "little horn-faced," and was an appropriately small ceratopsian.

It was the smallest dinosaur of its time, only 2 feet long, 10 inches tall and approximately 15 pounds. Not much was known about this dinosaur, but it belonged to the ceratopsian family. It was a herbivorous animal that ate ferns, cycads and conifers. It had no teeth, but had a bill-like mouth used to chew on leaves or needles. Like its larger relatives such as the well-known Triceratops, it had a characteristic ceratopsian ornament. It was a bipedal dinosaur or stood on two legs.
