Jinzhousaurus was a genus of hadrosauroid dinosaurs that lived in the Early Cretaceous of China. Its generic name referred to the city of Jinzhou, and the specific name honors the founder of Chinese paleontology, Yang Zhongjian. In 2001, it was described by Wang Xiao-lin and Xu Xing.

Jinzhousaurus was a strongly built dinosaur that would not be easy prey. It walked on two legs, but its arms and posture also allowed it to walk on four. It was a herbivore that ate a combination of leaves, twigs and seeds. It had a beak that was used for cutting food, removing leaves or harvesting. It has hundreds of tiny teeth packed in dental batteries that were continually replaced by new teeth. It reproduced by laying eggs like other dinosaurs. However, there is very little information about them.

It was estimated at 7 meters in length and weighed perhaps as much as three-quarters of a ton.
